Attaching and starting the Game boy player is very easy. You open the Hi Speed Port found underneath the Game cube and click the Game boy player to it. You may secure the game boy player with a few screws, however they're not required. After you've done all that you're ready to play. Put the Game boy player disc into your Game cube, a Game boy advance game into the Game boy Advance player and hit the on button your Game cube. You can play the game with your Game cube controller or with the Game boy Advance connected to your cube. If you push the Z button during a game or if you turn on your Gamecube without a game in your Game boy player you get a menu.
You can switch off your Game boy Player, allowing you to switch games without having to turn off your cube.
Other options include screen size, screen sharpness, button layout for the controllers, an alarm clock and borders around the screen. You are able to set the screen size to full screen, however the Game boy games do not have high resolution, so it's best to get better graphics by zooming out a little. The Game boy player also has a link connection, so it can link to Game boy Advance or even other Game boy players.
The Game boy player is the best way to play Game boy Advance games at home. You are able to sit on your couch and play on your TV screen and control the games with your beloved Cube controller. The graphics are the best you can get playing your Game boy Advance games. You don't have to squint at your Game boy Advance screen as you play Castlevania or read a game map. Playing with the Game boy player also adds to the gaming experience. You are able to take turns playing Wario Ware games with friends on the couch. The Game boy player lets you and your friends watch along as they play and wait your turn.
The game boy player also works with multi-player games. One player plays on the TV and the other plays on a second Game boy Advance. You are also able to link Game boy players together to play Mario Kart Super Circuit. The Gameboy player costs just the same as a new video game; $49.99 for any console. This may seem a little too much, however it is up to you if they want to spend the money on a Gameboy player or on a Gameboy SP.
