Games People Play

I have been on AOL for a very long time and I am appalled at the game playing with peoples lives that goes on all the time in the chat room. These people that play games with the hearts and souls of big hearted people can be put into to different categories which I am going to discuss. The types I am about to talk about whether intentional or not are insidious and evil at best.

Let me start with the ones that play games to focus attention on themselves. The attention grabbers is what I am going to call them. Some might be lonely, or actually hurting about one thing or another and just do not know how to handle it. Instead of going to get professional help, the come into a chat room like the ones on AOL and play their little games. They seek out the big hearted and loving people and prey upon them and then when they are dones sucking the life out of these people they disappear from sight.

Another type of game player I will call the blood sucker. This game player loves to inflict pain on others. He or she purposely sets out to draw their victims into their hideous traps. Like a mosquito they land on their unsuspecting prey anesthetize them with lies and hidden agenda. When the victim is numb they then began to suck the emotional blood right out of them. Until that person can no longer help those in need. The victim ends up an emotional wreck while the blood sucker goes off in search of another victim to attack and destroy.

The final type of game player I am going to discuss is the worst of them all. Some of them know what they are doing and some of them don't. For like of better words I will call this one, the suicide threatener or cutter. This one says they are tired of life and are going to end it all. In reality this game player has no intention of doing this. They sit their and let some poor unsuspecting big hearted, loving person try to talk them out of something they never intended to do. When suddenly they disappear and leave the poor well meaning loving person wondering what happened and not knowing whether the suicide threatener is still alive or not. Some of these type will be laughing at their victims some do not.

The cutter which I classify into the same category is similar only this one goes around telling people they cut. Maybe they do and maybe they don't cut themselves. But in reality most are just plain liars and trying to get attention. There are a few that do cut themselves and these many times miss the help they need because the helper has been fooled by the game players in the past. This is the most horrid part of it all. It numbs those with big hearts and makes them cynical. The game players just don't care, they have their agenda and get their attention irregardless how many lives they ruin.

I am one of those that have grow cynical over such people who love playing games. When I am in a chat room, it is hard to for me to believe anyone that is crying out for help. I have come to the conclusion that these game players really need to get help professionally and not seek help in an AOL chatroom.

I know of one game player that came into a chat room and claimed she is a cutter, she cried about her life and posted these sad poems on her profile that she claims are all hers. One is not. One poem was googled and come to find out this game player had taken a poem off the web and modified it for her profile to make it look like hers. She then went into a chat room and told everyone that her and this choir were all going to cut themselves at the time. That is such utter nonsense, She hurt a friend of mine and I am very upset about this. She was so believable until she mentioned about a whole choir cutting with her and that she had too. She said she did not want to but had too. What a bunch of garbage.

I would highly suggest to people with big hearts to look hard at those online they are trying to help. There are to many predator game players, or chain jerkers out there and we must be very careful. Don't close your heart off to others, just be very careful is what I suggest.
