How can anybody bet on a team that got dominated by Syracuse just a week ago? I don't know but I would strongly consider it this week. We all have bad weeks and Rutgers will make last week look less bad by beating Louisville this week by at least a touchdown. Take Rutgers at minus 3.
Illinois has been extremely disappointing but they get +20.5 at Cincinatti this weekend. Does Cincinatti have the ability to beat them by 40? Yes. Does Cincinatti already have their mind on Pittsburgh? Yes.
I understand why Neveda is +14 this week at Boise but if you have watched Nevada dismantle every team they have played over the last few weeks you would have to be tempted to consider this game. Boise has not played a real football team in 2 months so they might be a little shell shocked to play someone who knows what they are doing.
Virgina is +16 at home against Virginia Tech. Regarding this years teams, I have seen less talented Virginia teams play more talented VT teams closed than 16 points over and over again.
North Carolina is -5.5 at NC State this weekend. I understand this is a rivalry but North Carolina is peaking at the right time against a less talented Wolfpack team.
I am showing Oklahoma State as a 9.5 point underdog at Oklahoma. That has got to be an error. Texas Tech made Oklahoma look like a Tulsa intermural team last week. Surely this is an error. If not you can laugh all the way to the bank.
Boston College is -6 at Maryland. Do I need to say anything else?
Navy is a 10 point favorite at Hawaii. Navy will torpedo Hawaii's chances at staying in this game in the 2nd quarter.
Finally, Florida State is a 24 point underdog at Florida. Florida could beat the Seminoles by 50 but Florida has not shown up to play yet. I believe this week will be no different. This has become a one sided rivalry and the Gators will sleepwalk through this game with their mind on Alabama. Florida will win by 17.
(Please note: I will not be held responsible for any of these picks but if you win a lot of money from any of my picks I do accept money orders or cash. Have a great Thanksgiving.)
