GameStop Reveals Details of Wii Bundle Preorder

Bundle Includes Six Games, Additional Wiimote, and More

A few days ago, I reported on a bundle package preorder from GameStop, but at the time I only knew so much about it! Not anymore, folks; for I have learned this morning just what GameStop (and EB Games, since they're both under the same corporate roof) are offering potential Wii customers for this bundle.

According to the GameStop website, tonight is your chance to get a special "online-only Wii Bundle pre-order"the best games, accessories and more in one convenient package delivered right to your door." Of course, you'll have to be fast, as "supplies are extremely limited."

So what, exactly do you get? Well, now we know - and here is the list:

* Nintendo Wii Console, which includes:
* 1 remote controller
* 1 nunchuck
* cables
* sensor bar
* console stand
* Wii Sports game
* Wii Memory SD 1GB
* Additional Wii Remote Controller
* Six additional games:
* Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
* Trauma Center: Second Opinion
* Red Steel
* Marvel Ultimate Alliance
* Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz
* Madden NFL 2007
* 12 Month Product Replacement Plan
* Game Informer Gift Subscription

So how much will this set you back? Here's what the final cost for all this works out: $694.88 (plus tax and handling). Of course, there are a few disclaimers: the Wii bundle contents could change between now and launch, and immediate shipping is not guaranteed at the time of launch. There is also a strict limit of 1 per household on a first come, first serve basis - so you had better be fast to get this one, because it may be your last chance to preorder the Wii (aside from a rumored preorder offer that just might be hitting Amazon.com soon!)
