Gametrailers.com consist of user movies submitted by its members, forums about gaming and other info, and various retrospect and videos created by the GT staff. I have been a member for three years now and I have got to say it's a great place, besides getting the what's what on the latest video games you also rack of GTP or Gametrailers points, previously GTD or Gametrailer dollars. The previous method was to spend hours watching user movies at 1 GTD a piece and writing one blog a day for 5 GTD well that has changed with its upgrade, while the same rates go there is an auction house rather than a market place so you don't have to spend a lifetime racking up points for one game. I mean sure the GTP is a very innovative concept and attracts younger kids not able to get jobs but realistically it is near impossible to save up enough.
The overall point of the Website is to display info on upcoming games with entertaining content. As far as aesthetics goes the homepage of the site is a little crowded and confusing at first but once you get used to the site everything becomes second nature. A great thing about it though is that you are able to easily navigate to any part of the site by one click on the homepage. The videos uploaded by users on GT are constantly viewed by GT officials to select featured material which is always entertaining. There is also a popular now video column that shows you what's going on right now. Other than video organization the forum is well organized and efficiently divides into systems and general topics. My favorite part of the forums is the general discussion where you are sure to always find something interesting being chatted about. Plus if you have a question about an upcoming game or maybe your system isn't working right all you have to do is make a post to get almost immediate feedback from people in the forum right now and chances are they have been through the same problem and can help you, or are knowledgeable about current releases or whatever your question may be.
Overall from looking up game reviews to catching videos about pre-released games gametrailers.com is an excellent place for all your gaming questions and needs.
