The food at GameWorks is a mixture of fast food and quick sit down restaurant food. Most meals are under ten dollars and you have the options of appetizers like quesadillas, sliders, and wings. As for entrees, you can eat healthy and grab a salad, grab a burger, or chose an entree such as fish, stir-fry, pizza, or pasta. I tried the battered fish and chips. The entrée was greasy but after you got passed the fried food greasiness it wasn't too bad. A few other co-workers who had other entrees were very pleased with the food choices.
GameWorks offers several choices for gaming. You can choose 300 credits for $50 or go as little as $5 for 20 credits. We were given the option for an hour of play for a certain amount of payment. I did not purchase the play time so I can't quote the cost. At this point we were given a GameWorks playing card where you would scan at each game to initiate play. After you scan the card the reader screen will let you know how many credits you have left or how much play time you have.
There were two floors of games to play. Racing games, Guitar Hero, simulator roller coasters, motorcycle games, pinball machines, Mario Kart, pool, darts, shooting games, virtual bowling, and much more small carnival like games. However, to our disappointment, the playing card only worked with some games and not all of them. The more we looked around the more we noticed that most games took cash or change and did not have the player's card option.
I spent my hour mostly playing Guitar Hero as my other co-workers toggled between the shooting games and the racing games. All and all it was a good time, but very limited.
I do recommend visiting GameWorks, however check your favorite games first before purchasing credits. You will have a good time!
