Garcia leaned against the trunk of her favorite tree. It was the middle of the night and she was exhausted but for some reason she couldn't get to sleep. Sighing she looked around the backyard. She should have brought a book or something but now she was to comfortable to move. "Garcia?" She heard Reosu's voice.Looking up she knew instantly that something was bothering him she could see it in his eyes. "hmm?" talking just wasn't going to work right now, she was half asleep. Reosu sat down beside her, without even thinking she laid her head on his shoulder. Her eyes half closed. "I have to tell you something important." he said in a voice Garcia had never heard him use before. Was that...Fear she heard? Reosu was afraid? Of what? She didn't even know that was possible.

"Garcia I've been wanting to tell you this for a long time... but I just couldn't find the courage to." she remained quiet waiting for him to finish. " I love you" he said simply, but Garcia didn't miss the certainty in his voice. Her mind was screaming at her to say something but her damn mouth wouldn't work. She sat up straight looking at him. Shocked was an understatement, a big understatement. She was beyond shocked. "Never mind." Reosu said sounding deeply hurt. "I shouldn't have said anything" he stood up and began walking back to the house. "Wait!" Garcia said standing up. It was safe to say she was fully awake now. " I..and you...I mean...what?" But that didn't mean her mouth was working. Reosu took a deep breath. " I said I love you" He was few feet away from her now.

"Weird" Garcia breathed. Reosu turned around, "Is that all you have to say?" his voice not quiet harsh but understanding. "No it's just..." Garcia paused looking down at the ground and swerving her foot in circles in the dirt. "I thought I'd be the first to say it" she looked up at him. "I love you too" In all of two seconds Reosu closed the distance between them. Before Garcia could so much as gasp he pressed his lips against hers bringing them into a passionate and loving kiss. Claiming her lips as his, and his alone.
