The price seems very reasonable for the quality. Another plus for Garden of Eatin' Organic Microwave Popcorn, is that it is made with no genetically engineered ingredients. The kernels in this organic popcorn popped up to be very large. The pieces of popped popcorn were the biggest I have ever seen from microwave popcorn. They were very light and full of flavor, and I had virtually no kernels left in the bag that did not pop. The flavor of this popcorn is excellent as well with a delightful buttery taste.
On the back of the box it reads, "Organically grown. Great tasting. When Al Jacobson founded Garden of Eatin' over 30 years ago, he knew that buying organic crops from farmers who grew them without pesticides and synthetic fertilizers would be better for your health and for the environment as well. Since then, Garden of Eatin' has been making the finest products made with organic corn. We now continue this valuable tradition by offering organic microwave popcorn. Our organic popcorn is available in two delicious flavors. No oil added and natural butter, both conveniently popped in your microwave oven. So pop in a bag and enjoy!"
Each bag of Garden of Eatin' Organic Microwave Popcorn makes about 4 cups of popcorn. If you eat the entire bag yourself, it is about 300 calories. For an entire bag you would get 12g of fat (but no trans fat), zero cholesterol, 360 mg of sodium, 42g of carbohydrates, 6g of protein, 8% of your recommended daily allowance for Vitamin A and Iron. Of course you don't have to eat the entire bag by yourself, but you will probably want to.
This product is manufactured by the Garden of Eatin', a division of the Hain Celestial group based out of Melville, New York. They also have a consumer affairs office in Boulder, Colorado and provide there 1-800 number on the box should you choose to call them with any suggestions. I really like Garden of Eatin', I have enjoyed there other products as well and have never been disappointed. Garden of Eatin' Organic Microwave Popcorn is also certified organic by Quality Assurance International. I would certainly recommend this product to all my friends and family.
