Garlic Chicken White Pizza Lean Pockets Review

Amy Brantley
Okay, I'll admit it. I love Lean Pockets. They're quick, easy and low in PointsPlus values, which make them the perfect lunch option for me. Recently, I decided to try a new flavor called Garlic Chicken White Pizza. After my recent experience with the Pepperoni Pizza in a Garlic Seasoned Crust, I didn't have high hopes for this flavor, but I had already purchased it so I gave it a shot. Would this flavor be a home run or another failure?

First of all, these are extremely easy to prepare. All you need to do is wrap them in their microwave sleeve and cook for 2 minutes. If you're making two at a time, you will need to cook them for a bit longer, but still, this is truly fast food without all the guilt.

When I bit into the Garlic Chicken White Pizza Lean Pocket I was in love. My first impression was there was no way this flavor could be lean. There were big, gooey gobs of cheese that were so soft and flavorful. There was also a delicious, creamy garlic sauce that was to die for. It more than made up for the bland pepperoni flavor I had recently tried. This is a flavor that will be in my freezer continuously or at least until I get tired of Lean Pockets.

While it doesn't taste lean, this flavor of Lean Pockets contains 280 calories, 8 grams of fat, 4 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans-fat, 25mg of cholesterol, 510mg of sodium, 38 grams of carbohydrates, 3 grams of fiber, 10 grams of sugar, 11 grams of protein, 4% of your daily Vitamin A, 25% of your daily calcium and 10% of your daily iron.

I have to give this product 5 out of 5 stars. If you want something decadent to curb your cravings for pizza, this is it. The Garlic Chicken White Pizza Lean Pockets pack such a flavor punch that you would never know they were low in calories. Best of all, you can get these at Walmart for $2 for a package of two. Talk about an inexpensive lunch.
