Garment Worker Center Loses Credibility by Support Scammers

Garment Worker Center, also known as GWC for short, was built on the foundation of a greater cause against the exploitation of garment workers. The cover sounds great, however, the possibilty of the cause could just be a mere front to cover up the real story behind the organization's true agenda. It has come to my attention that one of possibly many of the workers GWC represents are manipulating the purpose of the organization to extort money from legit businesses, unless of course GWC purposely conjured up the story just for the money they could possibly split. Money makes people participate in criminal acts afterall.

In this case, the worker in questioned has been working with the accused company for many years. However, in 2006 the worker left the company and the state to live in Texas with her child and did not return to California until 2009. With the economic downturn, the accused company did not have any work for anybody but when she came begging for work in 2009, the owner offered her some work out of pity. However, the worker refused to work and left and never returned to even pick up her pay. Little did the owner know, the trust and compassion of the owner has been betrayed by the worker.

The worker went to GWC and either GWC or the worker conjured up the story that during 2006 and 2009, the worker was never paid. Although it is proven the worker was not even in California or working which can be supported by the rest of the staff, etc. The worker claimed she worked Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM and was never given breaks or paid overtime, which is a lie because she never worked excessively even when she did worked. In addition, there is another so called employee claiming the same things but also did not work and yes, they are friends. Is GWC the center of grand extortion? Yes!

Lies and deception, is that the true foundation of GWC? There is no doubt the worker came up with this ridiculous story herself. GWC must be the great mastermind of this scheme of extortion and exploitation of workers. It is sad to see the exploitation of workers by the people who claim to be protecting them of their rights but there is no justice when GWC is entangling them into performing criminal acts of extortion and placing them before the law when it is known these workers do not want to be placed in court for fear of deportation and taxation.

The belief of justice has come to a sad end because if you can't trust the organizations that were made to protect you then who can you trust? The only people you can trust are the government agencies because you know there is no hidden agenda behind what they are doing. GWC are scammers!
