"The Nuvi 700 series from Garmin allows users to truly enjoy the experience of navigation", says Clive Taylor, Product Manager at EMEA. "We have used the latest technology when building this device, such as the function to avoid high traffic for a pleasant trip, with out anything to worry about. The menu is very easy to use, and the help functions are showing you how to take advantage of the full capabilities of the navigation system at the time you need complex guidance in using it. We are constantly working on improving the experience of our customers, and the Nuvi 700 series will ensure a safe trip, and will ensure the arrival at the destination you want."

Although Nuvi 700 is simple and very easy to use, it also provides advanced and innovative functions so that it fits any type of driver that may be using it. Each of the Nuvi 700 navigation systems provides the user with traffic alerts, with the option to get a life-time license for all traffic services.

The navigators allow drivers to avoid crowded areas or road blocks, and to find alternative routes that they can take in order to shorten the time needed for the trip. Garmin uses the Cyplops technology in order to offer all its navigation systems prompt alerts regarding surveillance cameras. The navigators have an advanced capacity when planing a trip, allowing users to plan up to 200 intermediary destinations in a single route, resulting in an economy of time and fuel, especially for the people that work in sales, and need to make many stops before reaching the final destination. The system also has 10,000 tracking points, memorizing exactly the places you have passed already. The function has many advantages, such as the ability to reconstruct the route or viewing it in Google Earth.

All the systems from the Garmin Nuvi 700 series, are equipped with an FM transmitter, allowing users to send instructions using Wi-Fi, or place phone calls. Also, the devices can be used to play MP3 files in combination with the vehicles audio system. The Nuvi 710, 760 and 770 are equipped with a Bluetooth device, which will allow users to place hands free phone calls, if combined with compatible phones. The users can find and dial numbers stored in their personal phone, but also numbers stored in the Nuvi database. The text-to-speech function is also a great improvement which was brought to these navigators, it is included in the Nuvi 750, 760 and 770 models, where the road names are pronounced loudly by the device, so that no confusion will exist when in intersections. The devices are also equipped with an image viewer, this way users can save on the device their favorite photos.

As seen in other Garmin navigation devices, the 700 series is proud to present a large 4.3 inch screen that be can easily read even in the sun light. The screens resolution is of 480x272 pixels. The GPS antenna is encased in the device, conferring a smooth design.

The Nuvi 710, 750, 760 and 770 will be available in stores starting October 2007, at a price ranging from 500 to 900 US dollars.
