Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti Sun Damage Moisture Lotion

Great Sun Protection and Suitable for Acne-Prone Skin

Emily Harmon
Garnier Nutritioniste has launched a new line of skin care products ranging from deep eye creams to general moisturizers. Since I had a rebate that could allow me to try a new Garnier Nutritioniste product for free, I was willing to give a somewhat pricey product a chance. I chose the Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti Sun Damage Daily Moisture Lotion. As someone conscious about sun exposure and my skin, this seemed like the right product to test.

Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti Sun Damage Daily Moisture Lotion comes in a 2.5 ounce bright green pump style bottle. The pump is convenient and easy to use, even one-handed. There is an outer box with the product which is excess packaging I could do without, but unfortunately many manufacturers seem to think that excess packaging makes their product appear more exclusive. 2.5 ounces is a generous size for a facial moisturizer. Garnier Nutritioniste Anti Sun Damage Daily Moisture Lotion sells for about $12.99 which puts it in the mid-range for similar skin care products.

When I first started using Garnier Nutritioniste Anti Sun Damage Moisture Lotion I noticed immediately how easily it glided onto my skin and how it absorbed right away. The lotion is not greasy or oily. In fact, Garnier Nutritioniste Anti Sun Damage Moisture Lotion is 99.9% oil free. This is important for someone such as myself since even in my late twenties, my skin is still acne-prone.

In addition to an appealing non-greasy feel, Garnier Nutritioniste Anti Sun Damage Moisture Lotion also provides SPF 28. This SPF is higher than what is offered in most daily facial moisturizers and is certainly a plus. After using Garnier Nutritioniste Anti Sun Damage Moisture Lotion for about three weeks I have noticed that my skin is softer and smoother. While I have not noticed a huge difference in the tone or brightness of my skin, this may be a benefit that comes with continued use.

As someone who is quite picky about facial lotions, I must say that Garnier Nutritioniste Anti Sun Damage Moisture Lotion has really impressed me. While the price is a little higher than what I would normally spend, Garnier Nutritioniste Anti Sun Damage Moisture Lotion provides excellent protection from sun damage, a great feel, ease of use, and it works well to soften and smooth facial skin, even skin that is prone to breakouts. Overall I give Garnier Nutritioniste Anti Sun Damage Moisture Lotion 4 out of 5 stars.

I really like MOST of the Garnier line of their skin care products but this one I'm having mixed feelings about. While I see alot of positive reviews about it - they tend to come from mostly people who have had issues with acne or oily skin.
And I agree that the lotion goes on smooth and is non greasy however within an hour of putting it on my skin it does NOT feel good, but rather tight and a little irritated like I've been in indirect sunlight and my face feels on the dry/sunburned side.

I have normal skin, not too many breakouts but always try to find a product that has a good SPF and is a little more moisturizing. This one doesn't feel moisturizing enough and I always have to add another product to it so my skin doesn't feel so uncomfortable.

I have only used it for about a week so I'll give it a little longer. The price is right at around $8.00 a bottle so it won't break the bank.

I have been using this product for a year and am a huge fan. It is non greasy, I have seen a noticeable reduction in my laugh & forehead line. I use it after applying my 3 step acne system and it helps my skin from drying out & it does appear to have balanced the tone of my skin w/ prolonged use. Very pleased with the results. I'm only 23, but when I look at my guy friends that don't moisturize, I see a definate difference & they're skin looks significantly older.

i luv how this product moisturizes my face and helps it look brighter, but when i put it on it makes my face look kind of oily and i may get a tiny blemish(not sure if it's the product doing this). other than that i luv this product as well as all the other garnier products :)

i love garnier! but for some reason every time I use (spf 28) moisture lotion I break out like there is now tomorrow.
It kills me because i love all their things.

I love Garnier hair products for sure and when I saw that they came up with a facial line I decided to try it out. I tried out this same product you've purchased the Skin Renew and I feel it was to thick of a lotion for me and when I put it on my face it felt like I had a mask on. I'll still use Garnier for my hair I have everything from shampoo to hairgels. But for my face I'll stick to Bio Specific Rehydration from YVES ROCHER It leaves my face soft and moisturized especially for my dehydrated skin. I also love the Pure Calmomille facial cleanser products. You can find these line of products at http://www.yvesrocherusa.com/control/category/~category_id=M00003-USA/~categoryFilterBy=Bio_Specific_Rehydration/~categoryFilterType=ByBrand
