Garth Brooks

Garth Brooks is a very popular singer who appeals to both country and non country fans. While I personally do like some of his music, I believe he is nowhere near the talent of Alabama, Chris Ledoux, or George Strait, all of whom are 100% real. He appears to have a bit of an identity crisis over country and rock and roll, but even cowboys like a little rock and roll I guess. Some sources state that he is the top selling solo artist in history.

He sings a variety of music some is very country such as Rodeo and The Beaches of Cheyenne or the dance. And some of more mainstream such as Ain't Going Down Till the Sun Comes Up, and It's Your Song. Musically Garth brooks usually plays the guitar, but I have not heard much guitar that is very impressive musically as a guitarist myself. One of his first hits is much too young to feel this damn old. As a former rodeo cowboy I can tell you that song is pretty accurate to a degree.

Garth brooks has been married twice the second and current marriage is to fellow country music artist Trisha Yearwood. The two were long rumored to be having an affair. His case of zipperitis (problem keeping his zipper up when you are married) and other personal problems caused him to retire. He did do some performances for charity after the hurricane Katrina disaster. Issues with him being a lack of a role model aside Mr. Brooks is a very good singer and does have some songs that I like. He also puts on a pretty good show and does lots of charity work in this country for kids here in the good old USA.
