Gary Coleman and His Mystery Wife

Rosa Hayes
The former child star, Gary Coleman, is married and has been since last summer claiming that they wanted to keep the marriage a secret so that his fame wouldn't overcome his new wife's name, Shannon Price.

Shannon Price is an EBay seller and has sold many of Gary Coleman's items including sweatpants that sold for $500 to late-night host Jimmy Kimmel as reported by EOnline.com.

The question on everyone's mind is if this marriage will survive. Taking a look back at Gary Coleman's life, we can see that he has been through a lot with his fame falling after people grew tired of the little boy act that he once created on hit shows like Diff'rent Stokes.

Gary Coleman later went on to become a Security Officer and was even put on trial after punching a bus driver who asked for his autograph. He claimed that the women had put him in fear for his life and so he punched her. Coleman was ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $1,665 for hospital bills in 1998 for the women that he had punched.

Gary Coleman might be a little guy but he appears to have a bit of a temper when it comes to his once profound fame and what it has made him into today.

Although Coleman's name is still a popular one, this could be because he couldn't help but to stay in the spotlight throughout most of his life while filing for bankruptcy and suing his parents and former manager.

After doing a Google search for the now Mrs. Gary Coleman, Shannon Price, I couldn't help but notice that her name wouldn't hardly pop up on any articles. The one name that did pop was for a Shannon Price who was receiving all kinds of congratulations on her marriage to Gary Coleman. The problem was that this Shannon Price wasn't the same one. This Shannon Price owns a blog called Shannon Price-completely free rantings and even left a funny little post telling people to stop congratulating her because she wasn't the 22 year old Shannon Price that married Gary Coleman.

Who knows, the newly wed couple make a fortune off of selling all of Gary Coleman's items and live happily ever after. As for his wife, Shannon Price, it doesn't seem like there is really much to know about her other than the fact that she is doing great with auctioning off Coleman's items on EBay.

Most marriages that are cast in the lime-light don't usually survive because of all the publicity that the couples usually get but it doesn't seem like they have been in the media for a while. Could this all change because of the marriage? We can only wait to find out if this former child-star's marriage will survive or if it will just end up in another Hollywood marriage gone badly.

He sure did run for Mayor, I can't remember what state it was for. I think it was California but I wouldn't quote me on this.

Intriguing information. He has sure had his share of ups and downs since that show went off the air. I believe he even ran for mayor once, didn't he?

That was funny. I think that a lot of people think of that little catch phrase that he always said.

Too funny about the Google of Shannon Price. I bet the not-real Shannon Price was really irritated. Imagine being married to Gary Coleman - hhmm?? Great hidden pearl you uncovered. Good job.
