Um yeah. So apparently living in Brooklyn has turned into living in a freaking jungle. In case you haven't heard, a guy dropped off a 2-foot baby alligator at the 88th Precinct in Clinton Hill the other day.

He said he found it wandering around the park, which I think must mean someone took it for a walk/swim in Fort Greene Park, the alligator realized that it was in NEW YORK CITY and it tried to make a run for it back to the Everglades or wherever it came from.

I'm not sure I buy the story that someone was keeping it as a pet and decided that it had gotten too big to keep and had to get rid of it so they said they found it in the park.

In the immortal words of Angelina from The Jersey Shore, "Um, hello?!?!"

How big were you expecting this alligator to get? Did you think it was going to be like the mini horse that Rob Dyrdek has? My best guess is that some nut must have thought it would be cool to have it as an exotic pet, it got snippy one day and took off a hand or a finger and the owner decided that he or she couldn't afford to lose any more appendages.

Either way all I know if that I am brining a full on jungle outfit next time I go to Fort Greene Park. I certainly don't want to end up like Ice Cube in Anaconda!
