If you want a change of pace be sure to have dinner at Gaucho's Grill in West Little Rock Arkansas. They specialize in Brazilian-Argentinean cuisine, and if you do plan on eating there be sure to check out the Churrascaria(buffet). The location is wonderful, but the real magic happens when you walk into the door. This is definitely a place to go if you want to have an intimate evening. There is seating for two as well as groups, so bring the whole family if you'd like.

The subtle lighting makes you feel relaxed and quite comfortable, the wait-staff go out of their way to make sure your visit is a pleasant one. I decided to take my mother for her birthday this year and at first she was a little apprehensive because she is a very light eater, but Gaucho's changed all that. She was surprised at how much she had eaten. We plan on going there again for my birthday.

The Churrascaria is $22.95(drinks not included) per person, but when you want a good meal what's a few extra dollars. I honestly think this is the better way to go. If you want to order an entree off the menu that is an option as well. The Churrascaria is really interesting because you never have to get out of your seat, they bring everything to your table. When you sit down at the table they give everyone a coaster one side red the other green. As long as you have it on green they will come by your table and offer you different meats, but if it is on red they will pass by until you decide to flip it over again.

I really like this because it gives you time to eat whatever is on your plate, and you don't miss anything you might be interested in because you can get it later. Also I am really big on my food being nicely seasoned, and when I go to Gaucho's no salt no pepper is needed. There are all kinds of meats: prime rib, turkey, chicken parmesan, chicken wrapped in bacon, meatballs, pork tenderloin, ribs, steak , lamb and much more.

Your vegetables are brought to the table: mashed potatoes, greens, black beans, rice. You will also receive dinner rolls along with caramelized bananas and three different dipping sauces. Having drinks at Gaucho's is a treat as well; they have a variety of martinis and that is my drink of choice. Any flavors you can think up they generally have it including chocolate. Of course I tried the chocolate martini and it was delicious. The desserts looked mouthwatering but unfortunately I've never gotten quite that far.

I try to make a trip to Gaucho's at least twice a year, but I always make sure that my breakfast and lunch are light because when I go there it seems as if my stomach becomes a bottomless pit lol. Seriously folks I would recommend this restaurant to anyone I know. A few of my friends have eaten there after I told them about it and they had nothing but good things to say. Don't wait for a special occasion treat yourself and I assure you that disappointment will not be one of the feelings you'll have. Instead you will be totally satisfied!!!!!!
