Gay Days in Disney Land 2007

Gays Days in Disney Land is coming up from October 5-7. This is going to be the 10^th Annual gathering of Red Shirts! Disney Land Park does not sponsor this event but Disney respects the event, and the sponsors of gay days have arranged different gatherings and events throughout the weekend in the different lands and parks.

Gay Days at Disneyland has been an event that has gathered many members of the LGBT community. This event again is Unofficial to Disneyland, but has been getting more popular every year. During this weekend family can be shown as many different colors of the rainbow but one color that stands out is the color of red. During this weekend the Gay Days sponsors and participants use the color of red to create unity with the gay and lesbian community.

Everyone that participates in Gay Days wears red, and by doing so it creates a support for gays and lesbians at of course the happiest place on earth. During this day Gays and Lesbians can show their love to one another with the support of their community with them. This event helps create a safe environment, and opens the eye to the public that Disneyland is a place for everyone to be who they really are.

There are a lot of events and meet ups that the sponsors of Gay Days coordinate for the participants. Some of these events include different lunch meet ups at the different restaurants along Disneyland park. There is also different rainbow merchandise that Disneyland sells that can coincide with Gay Days. They schedule for Gay Days in Disneyland start on Friday with pre-parties in Disneyland, Disneyland Hotel, and in Downtown Disney.

Saturday is one of the bigger Days for this three day event On Saturday it is the Major event where everyone gathers at Disneyland. At the afternoon they take the group Disneyland gay day picture. On Sunday, participants head to California adventure to have a second helping of Gay Days at Disneyland, and they also take another group picture there.
