Gay Racism Further Exposed: Gay Real World Cast Member Says, "N%$@#$"
This season of Real Worlders go out to clubs like any other cast before them except that this episode's night escapades takes a turn for the worst. This night Davis gets drunk at a club and returns to the house before the others to use the phone to call his boyfriend. Stephen is angry because a club manager called him a "ni**er" at the club and thinks that Davis may have left him while he was being called names. Stephen tells Tyrie about the club incident and Tyrie begins an argument with Davis, demanding to know if he abandoned Stephen.
A drunk Davis calls Tyrie a ni**er, which seems to shocks everyone in the house. However, this type of racial prejudice expressed by an openly gay man is sadly not unheard in the white gay community.

Within the hidden gay world lies a myriad of gay racial slurs. For example: Rice Queen is said to be a homosexual non-Asian man who is mostly attracted to Asian men. A potato queen a gay Asian male who prefers to date (usually old and pathetic) Caucasian men. Sticky rice is term that describes gay Asian men who prefer dating within their race. An Oreo faggot is a slur directed at gay men who date outside their race, usually describing Black and White gay couples and the sad song plays on.
How an already oppressed and discriminated segment of society can continue to hate members within their own community is appalling. One thing is clear, Houston, the gay community has a problem.

I find this article to be appalling and sad, in the least. I am a proud, gay black male and I ask nothing of anyone else in this world other than to be allowed to be myself. I pass no judgment on others because we are all different and all unique. I personally do not take offense to that word because I know who I am and I was taught early on that the N word is used in context to an ignorant person (regardless of race) which I am not. Its sad to know that in 2010, we still have these issues.....let's get it together people.

I am a white gay male. The other day two black guys drove down my street and parked their cars to smoke a joint. My roommate (also gay) and I went out on the balcony just to eat breakfast. Well, I suppose the guys thought we were upset with them (which by the way, we didn't care) so they sped off and screamed "faggots" at us. Don't get me wrong, I am just justifying that anyone ever ever use the "n" word. In fact, whether you are gay or straight doesn't matter--it shouldn't be used. But my point is: we all know that and it's unacceptable. Why then, is it seemingly perfectly acceptable for those in the straight black community as faggots (because, let's be honest, unless you live in backwoods nowhereland it's not acceptable even among white folks)???
