Oven Features and Technologies:

This GE Profile Gas Range has been developed with a super-capacity oven. While this entire oven features a total cooking capacity of 6.0 cubic feet, this space is separated into two different ovens. The upper oven is the largest oven within this range, which features 5.0 cubic feet worth of cooking space. The lower oven is much smaller, only measuring 1.0 cubic feet. However, the lower oven features not only the capabilities to cook your foods, but also keep them warm through the Keep Warm Mode. This unique mode has been designed to maintain your already prepared foods at the ideal serving temperature without further cooking it.

Like most other ranges within this product category, the oven is powered by the Convection Cooking System. With gas convection, your foods will be evenly cooked, which will also dramatically reduce cooking times. What I really enjoyed about this oven, is its ability to cut back the amount of time you spend cooking your foods. This is made evident when you are preparing large holiday meals.

Cooktop Features and Technologies:

The first feature that I want to talk about within the cooktop for this GE Profile Gas Range is its surface design. Since this is a gas range, you will have cast-iron grates, instead of a smooth glass surface electric ranges provide. While grates are notorious for providing an unstable surface for pots and pans, this range is different. The continuous grate design will provide you with an even surface to cook your foods.

There are a total of five sealed gas burners within this range. There are four standard burners, which produce a wide range of temperatures. However, the center oval burner is extremely large, which makes it ideal for cooking with griddles or if you have unordinary cooking pots.
