Geauga County Christmas Tree Farms You Can Visit Without Breaking Your Budget

Geauga County is a widely diversified, yet mostly rural area in Northeastern Ohio, with a significant amount of agriculture still in place. There are a fair number of Christmas tree farms within Geauga County, Ohio. This is a list of the farms which are very nice and still offer a fair price for a decent Christmas tree. Most offer the you pick, they cut, and some will do the Cut your own program as well. So here is a list of the local Christmas tree farms nearby that I have visited over the years.

Tower-N-Pines Farm, offers previously cut plus choose your own and cut it yourself Christmas trees. They are a family run business with a great attitude, which is reflected in a happy family and healthy business. They are located at 8719 Mulberry road, Chesterland, Ohio. They offer various types of Pine, Fir, and Spruce. I find it is best to visit them on weekends between 9am and 4:30 pm, but they are open weekdays as well, between 2 and 5pm. North Corner Farm, has set things up where you choose the tree you want, and then they cut the tree for you. This program is good for people who can't necessarily get down on the ground and lop off a Christmas tree trunk. They have many varieties of Christmas trees for sale, such as; Blue Spruce, White Fir, and Pine, Norway Spruce, Canaan Fir, and more! They are located at 13800 Butternut road Burton, Ohio. Sugar Pines Farm, has many options to choose from! most popular is their you choose you cut program, living rooted Christmas trees which can be planted after Christmas, and they also offer pre-cut trees. They have wreaths and garlands. They provide the saw, so you don't have to bring one. They are located at 9500 Mulberry road, Chesterland, Ohio. Call them for information at 440-729-1019 They offer Blue Spruce, Norway Spruce, White Pine, Canaan Fir, and Fraser Fir. They are open weekdays 12-6pm, and weekends 9am to 6pm. I have heard good things about them through the grapevine.

Ma & Pa's is a unique shopping experience no matter how jaded you have become. They have Pre-cut Christmas trees, and living Christmas trees which you can plant later. they offer Christmas wreaths, boughs, Christmas decorations, Santa appearances, and Sleigh rides! They can be phoned at 440-548-5521 Visit them at their 1820's log cabin store Tuesday through Saturday 10:30am to 5pm. and Sunday noon to 4pm. They are closed on Mondays. They offer horse drawn sleigh rides, and also unique romantic night rides! Sleigh and carriage rides are available December first through February 28th. Tree varieties include Douglas Fir, Blue Spruce, Norway Spruce, Colorado Blue Spruce, Scotch Pine, White Pine, Fraser Fir, and Eastern White Pine.

Rhodes Sisters pre-cut Christmas trees, pick and cut your own, plus living rooted Christmas trees. These sisters also offer Wreaths, Roping, tree bags, and Tall trees are available! Hours are Saturday to Wednesday 10am to 5pm, Thursday and Friday 10am to 7pm. Their Christmas tree offerings are Scotch Pine, Canaan Fir, Fraser Fir, White Pine, Blue Spruce, Norway Spruce, and Austrian Pine. This is a fun place, and is well worth the trip out to visit them!
