Our generation is becoming more and more cellphone equipped. There are millions of children who have already begun carrying around cellphones. What this has resulted in is the slow decline in the use of landline phones. This decline is only going to continue and result in no one having landline phones in their homes. GE understands that there are currently millions of people who have already opted to no longer own landlines. Those people feel that it is not worth paying money for two phones, when you have one that you can take anywhere with you. The Cell Fusion line will help keep the convenience of landlines in your home, while allowing landlines to slowly vanish away.
The first phone in GE's Cell Fusion series will be known as the "No Jack" phone. As I stated before, the phone is going to be geared towards those who no longer have landlines or are looking to get rid of them. The No Jack Phone enables you to use a Bluetooth receiver to pair together your cell phone and a normal standard sized cordless phones. Bluetooth technology will allow a wireless connection to be sent between the two devices.
The result is that when your cellphone rings, you can also pick up you larger house phone to receive the call. Another benefit of this technology is that you can hook up two different cell phones to the phone, making it so that you and someone else can both receive calls on the "No Jack" phone. Many people that I have talked to seem to very excited about this addition because it is one of the major attributes that make it seem "better" than the traditional landline phones that we are accustomed to.
GE is currently planning to release the No Jack phone this upcoming April. There are rumors that the company is going to add a few final last touches to the phone. You will be bale to choose between two different models when it comes out. One model will come with only one handset and cost you around $80. The other model will come with two handsets and cost you about $100.
General Electric feels that their product is going to revolutionize the way that people have their phones in their homes. Phone companies are going to be upset by this development, by cellphone companies are going to love the idea. Keep you eye out for the Cell Fusion line of phone in April and watch for future models with additional accessories to come out in the months following the initial release.

Post a CommentI've had great performance with the XLink BT device. I choose it because I didn't want to through away all the phones I already had. Seems like that would be a terrible waste.
Just google Cell Fusion and check out all the issues with these phones.
