George Clooney Takes the Law into His Own Hands

Why do celebreties think they can do what they want just because they are famous? George Clooney is now officially taking the law into his own hands, stopping people who drive recklessly, taking their license plate number and threatening to go to the police. The last incident happened in september, when he as he was being followed by journalists pulled over and rushed over for a confrontation.

"How many laws did you break, pal?... You cut me up... How many people did you put in danger? You drove like a maniac down here. At least understand that you're putting people in danger... "I've been down on a motorcycle and the last thing I want to do is get thumped."

The journalists then apologized, and Clooney went back onto his bike where his girl friend Sarah Larson was waiting.

Another incident involved a guy who drove past Clooney. Clooney followed the guy, and pulled over when he did. He then said the same thing;
"How many laws did you break?", before he got the person's license plate number.

This is the job of the police. Clooney just got out of an accident, and is naturally shook up about it, but for him to take the law into his own hands will lead to no good. If he keeps this up, he might one day confront someone who is more vocal then him, they'll start an argument, and there will be more trouble then before.

George Clooney is an excellent actor, and is enjoying the privileges his profession has offered him. He needs to understand however, that to pull the long arm of the law on people is not acceptable. The police are more then capable of handling with these kinds of cases themselves, if Clooney got the license plate number without going up for a confrontation that would be a different thing. He could then hand the information over to the police.

When you get rich and famous, and your name is on everyone's lips, and all over the newspapers it must be hard to keep the focus right. Clooney seems to believe that he is above other civilians, that just because he happened to be involved in an accident he can involve himself personally every time someone speeds or makes an illegal u-turn. Hopefully he will get down to earth again and let the law handle these cases himself, because the way he goes about it will do nothing but cause more harm, and possibly inflicting himself to even greater risks.

    He may be overstepping his boundaries, but these damn paparazzi threaten to run him off the road. They do this to a lot of different people, so I can see why Clooney is so friggin' frustrated. But in the end, he is no police officer and should leave this work to the cops (assuming they are around when they need to be).
