George Soros Claims Tea Party Members "Used and Deceived."

When one wants to hear political, social or economic blather there are a cadre of leftists willing to furnish all that one can stand. Step in George Soros, billionaire the lefties love; a hedge fund rich cat who is obviously and inexplicably just fine with the Wall Street hating radicals. Mr. Soros can be counted on to step in and provide untold amounts of misdirection as he's done in this case with his misleading characterization that Tea Partiers are being "used and deceived."

How exactly? As I specified the other day, the Tea Party movement is one born of Americans tired of being "Taxed Enough Already," hence the acronym TEA. Tea Party patrons are not confused that they are emulating Samuel Adams and tossing crates of tea into Boston Harbor as idiot Janeane Garofalo once hatefully claimed.

Tea Parties have risen to prominence in this nation to address the general feeling displayed by state and national legislatures that money grows on trees, hence they spend like profligate whores with little to no regard to the sources of the money they spend - the citizens and the taxes government collects from us. Taxed Enough Already is the citizen response to government failing to heed our most sacred Constitutional provision...ruled by "the consent of the governed." How many Americans have forgotten this most important tenet of Americana?

Tea Parties do not deceive me at all. I am indeed "Taxed Enough Already!" What is deceptive about that? What is inaccurate? False? As a member of the nation specifying "consent of the governed" I have every right to weigh in on how many of my hard earned dollars are confiscated, and for what they are used.

Leftists love to portray all this as if Tea Party types hate the poor and social programs and that is blatantly false. We are characterized as lacking compassion and selfish, another of the long relied upon leftist denigrations that have absolutely zero truth...ZERO! They try and paint us as all for war and military spending but that we wish for granny or poor children to starve to death. The level of vitriolic hyperbole from the left is astounding and on its face it is hard to see how it gains any traction, or "resonates" as the political class loves to say.

For the real purpose of Tea Parties, listen up...it's exceedingly simple, therefore I fully expect the simpletons (you know who you are) to be able to grasp this concept. We do not so much object to the dollar figure we are taxed, but we do most assuredly object to HOW the money is spent. We DO object to the nanny state mentality that sees taxation and big government as the be all and end all. We recognize, unlike leftists, that government IS NOT the panacea to fix all ills.

We are all for government being what our Founder's envisioned and outlined. We expect the Constitution to be respected. We tire of hearing the idiotic mantra "it's a living document." No fools, it's an AMENDABLE document but not a "living document!" We are sick to death of government treating us as if we are children and only the class of largely leftist bureaucrats are capable of determining how I should live my life. Government IS NOT all powerful...the citizens of the United States are the all powerful ones...again, read the Document, idiots!

We expect elected leaders to lead and not abdicate their Constitutionally sworn duty in favor of lobbyists or ideology. Until that happens we will be here and we will be growing in size, in real political power and in ability to force our leaders to do their jobs as the Constitution specifies. After all, even foolish lefties swore an oath to it, no?
