George Wilkins - Quotes and Thoughts of a Whopper Renaissance Man

Clark Richards
George Wilkins is a trucker. He is reputed to have eaten the last whopper prior to Burger King placing their bogus ads about the whopper no longer being available at their establishments. His story is the story of the American worker. His efforts, like the efforts of millions past and present have contributed to the success of America. While America is a rich tapestry of the collective efforts of many, there is a common thread throughout. Each individual is striving to earn a piece of what America offers in terms of success in life. Success can be defined in many ways, but in George Wilkins life it is a simple statement. If he delivers the goods, he will be rewarded with goods. What are his goods? A suitable home, warm fire, a loving wife and children, a good dog and some time to enjoy simple pleasures free from the conflict and turmoil that life often delivers in unexpected ways.

So George Wilkins delivers the goods about our nation, enjoys a frequent BK whopper, listens to events unfold throughout the world and in American politics and often reflects about life. Here are a few thoughts and words that have emanated from the lips of George Wilkins.

You can tell a book by its' cover! - books have cover flaps - people have lip flaps - both are telling.

A politician is like a BK "whopper". Hidden beneath what appears to be a desirable delicacy is the real meat which can be overcooked or undercooked.

Thank-you officer - I know the state police want to keep us safe.

What you see happening in cars as they pass by is a reflection of life's emotional ride. You can see a lot just by watching.

Roads are like the circuitry of the brain, they crisscross about and often terminate in a dead end.

French fries are the common man's caviar.

A BK whopper is food for the body, nourishment to the brain and a sensational gastronomical delight. Some say it has the qualities of an aphrodisiac.

A truck is like a woman - if you maintain it properly, you will be rewarded with a great ride, if not, the sounds of dissatisfaction will disrupt what might have been a good trip.

A truck is like a man - the more toys or accouterments that are added to the mix, the more likely it will perform when needed.

A trucker is the soul of the American worker - sometimes lost, but always on the move.
