Georgia Men Say They'll Show Bigfoot Carcass Evidence Friday

Two Georgia men who claim to have found a complete carcass of a Bigfoot say they will reveal their find on Friday at a Palo Alto, California, hotel, according to searchingforbigfoot.com. Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer say they happened upon the Bigfoot body in the woods and have been storing it in a freezer while awaiting DNA test results. Interestingly, the claim is also supported by Bay Area Bigfoot researcher Tom Biscardi, who says he has examined the body.

The press conference, at which the men say they will show photo and DNA evidence, is scheduled for Friday, August 15, from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Cabana Hotel-Palo Alto, in California. Whitton and Dryer have given a description of the creature, saying it is 7'7" tall and weighs over five hundred pounds. They also claim it looks like a cross between a man and an ape and is male. Photos have been circulating on the internet that supposedly depict the Bigfoot carcass in a bathtub, but they are less than convincing.

The photos are black and white and of poor quality, begging the question: if they had a Bigfoot body and were really intent on documenting it, wouldn't they make the minimal effort to get a better picture? The cyptid blogosphere is certainly abuzz with anticipation, though. The group that Whitton and Dryer founded, called 'Searching for Bigfoot' (at searchingforbigfoot.com), appears to be down now due to overwhelming traffic. The Friday press conference promises to be a spectacle, but whether or not it will solve the mystery of Bigfoot remains to be seen. So far the group has not said they plan to actually exhibit the body itself at the conference and until that is done there is still room for suspicion.
