Gerber and ShopRite Organic Apple Juice Price Comparison
For the purpose of this review, obviously, the prices are taken from ShopRite. When you slice up the prices, Gerber Organic Apple Juice costs about .19 cents an ounce, whereas ShopRite Organic Apple Juice is about .04 cents an ounce. Big difference!
Sliced up another way, Gerber sells its organic apple juice in a cardboard enclosed four-pack of plastic bottles at four ounces per bottle. Each four ounce bottle costs you about .75 cents, totaling of 2.99.
Conversely, ShopRite sells its organic apple juice in one 64 ounce plastic container, which has a total cost of $2.59.
"But I get organic juice coupons from my beloved Gerber," you retort. Even when deducting the highest coupon you'll see for Gerber Organic Juice, $1.00, it's still .12 cents an ounce, or .08 cents an ounce more than ShopRite Organic Apple Juice. Plus, ShopRite Organic Apple Juice very often is on sale for $2.39. That's twenty cents less per container, or less than the aforementioned .04 cents per ounce.
Not only is Gerber charging an exhorbitant price, about $3.00 for 16 ounces of organic apple juice, but it's using quite a bit of packaging and thus more manpower and machine power while doing so.
Of course, Gerber could speciously reason the comparatively high cost of its organic juice is because of the packaging required in proffering consumers the convenience of such a four pack. The great irony of such gilded racket is the organic in the organic juice its selling enkindles, among other things, simplicity and non-destructiveness to the earth so the babies of today can use it tomorrow.
Let's continue cutting down the Gerber apple tree while comparing the two organic apple juices.
Gerber and ShopRite Organic Apple Juice Quality Comparison
Could it be the high price of Gerber organic apple juice is because its organic apple juice is better than ShopRite organic apple juice? Well, they're both from concentrate, and the last time I checked the variance in concentrates for juices is scarcely different. We're talking fractions here. So, that rules that out.
Could it be the steep price of Gerber organic apple juice is from the sum of golden apples gotten out of high, high, beautiful trees in the most perfect of valleys in Washington State; and ShopRite organic apple juice is from the spindliest of apple trees, even off the ground itself, where they've sat long enough so as to be half-rotten?
Bothjuices come from organically-grown apple trees, and from the apple orchard, through processing, to the moment you pour the juice from the container bearing the organic stamp on the label and into your baby's sippy-cup, the difference between the two apple juices is the same as the difference between six and a half a dozen.
Gerber Organic Apple Juice Vss ShopRite Organic Apple Juice Conclusion
Now that the review is over: don't even think about buying Gerber Organic Apple Juice and pick up as much ShopRite Organic Apple Juice your hands can gather.
