German Paper Stars - "Froebel Sterne"

Emily Griffin
Around Christmas time in Germany, people are busy making these stars. In German, these stars are called "Fröbelsterne." Fröbelsterne make beautiful tree decorations and decorations for gifts. There are 2 types of the Fröbelsterne. The first type is a 3 -D star and is slightly complicated and a bit time consuming to make. There is also the flat version. It's easier to make and can be used on packages, as card decorations, as small tree ornaments, etc. On CraftIdeas.info, I found a great tutorial on how to make these German stars.

It's a bit of a lengthy process but it's easy and the website has great images to help guide you and for you to go by. These paper stars can be used as ornaments or be made into wreathes. I am a big of craftideas.info because the tutorials are so well written and there is so much thought put into the directions that they are pretty much dummy proof.

Also, the two crafts that I mentioned above are so simple, yet they are beautiful when you are done making them. It can also save you allot of money because you are making your Christmas decorations all yourself instead of buying them at the store.
