German Sex Educaters including Jan Vinzenz Krause from the Institute for Condom Consultancy, are working on a spray on latex condom system. They say that they are serious about creating the perfect condom for every size penis. The device will use a "360 degreee procedure" and will spray on latex from nozzles on all sides, kind of like a car wash.
The spray on condom should be more effective as a contraceptive because it would fit better. They must first ensure that the latex is evenly spread when sprayed and perfect the vulcanization process. The plan is to get this out on the market by 2008 and make it available in different strengths and colors. The can will cost $26 and the 20 use latex cartridges will cost about $13. Krause said that he was inspired by spray on plasters used in the medical field.

Post a Commentthis could make a hairdryer a sex toy
I'm still plagued with the bad visual of a guy yelling "blow on it, Marge! My Viagra is kickin' in!"
Ditto to the comment from Nikki Daniels....how would someone get it off? They are coming up with the oddest things these days.
I'm speechless.
Tragically, I *am* now visualising "tool dip". Thank you very much... :P
Seems to me that dipping would be much more effective, and you can get a can of 'tool dip' at any hardware store, but what happens to the ejaculate? I am just not visualising this well at all.
This is "one of those times" when I wish I could just keep raising your vote - rather than express the anatomy raising thoughts that come to mind.
This spray-on condom idea is likely to be one of those "let's all buy it because it's new" things - then fizzle out. The biggest problem would be the waiting for it to dry time. Since it appears to be just liquid latex sans a paint brush (much like the latex people paint their bodies with) it's not a bad idea - but I can't see this going over well on prom night. The "being in a hurry" issue is why standard condoms are often not used. Another strike against it would be accidently getting it on pubic hair, and removing it with hair caught. I can see people trying this out and it selling well while it's a *new* thing for that reason -but I don't see this as being something males will trade their regular condoms in for. Great article, by the way.
This article just *begs* for a comment from Captain Underpants!
This is very weird. Wouldn't this be too snug a fit? How in the world do you get it off?
