Germany's Audi R8

For 2008, the German car company, Audi has introduced their first mid-engine supercar, the Audi R8. This supercar Audi R8 has an exotic aluminum space frame feature, and a mid-mounted compact V8 engine that can produce 420 horsepower that located behind the passenger compartment. A clear Lexan covers over the engine with LED lighting to show the engine off is the most stunning feature of this fabulous car. The car's skin is efficiently aerodynamic, with its underbody diffuser creates downforce to keep this car on the ground while it reach its top speed of 187 miles per hour. Audi claims that the car will accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds, this is about a third of a second behind the Lamborghini Gallardo.

The R8 has every comfort aspects of a luxury car, including an excellent legroom, navigation system, a 12-speaker for its 465-watt sound system. All of that make this car so comfortable. There's also a decent luggage space under the hood in front, and a lot of space behind the seats that make this car can be loaded with some stuffs when the passengers is on a traveling trip.

This car offers two transmissions, a six-speed manual and a version of the Audi/VW Direct Shift Gearbox with high-tech six-speed called R-Tronic. If there's speed, then there's brake, the brakes are race-worthy, and a bit sensitive at slow speeds. The shock absorbers of this car can adjust to the road conditions, and you can set the ride in two modes, Comfort and Sport.

This car is powered by Audi's venerable 4.2 liter V8, uses the high-revving 420 horsepower version where you can found in the RS4. The engine is located in the back. In high RPMs, the engine usually shows its best performance, but R8 make you reach 3,000 RPM at just 15 MPH in 1 st.
