Get Big & Strong by Eating Chipotle Burritos!
Nutritious Burritos Will Help You Gain Strength and Muscle!
When I get a burrito I usually get it with a 12″ flour tortilla shell, rice, chicken, fajita veggies, black beans, corn salsa, cheese, and lettuce. Just typing that out made me hungry...
Here is the nutritional information for my selection (thanks to chipotlefan.com!): Nutrition Facts Amount Per Serving Calories 1095 Cal from Fat 339 % Daily Value* Total Fat 39g 60% Saturated Fat 11g 53% Trans Fat 0g Cholesterol 140mg 47% Sodium 3108mg 130% Total Carbs 126g 42% Dietary Fiber 18g 72% Sugars 11g Protein 63g Vitamin A 0% • Vitamin C 0% Calcium 0% • Iron 0% * Percent Daily Values are based on a 2,000 calorie diet. When bulking and trying to add muscle, lots of calories are very important. Another good reason these burritos are good for gaining mass is because of their high carb content along with 63 grams of protein! Fats are also required for the muscle building process (yes even saturated fats!). The only thing that is bad about the burrito is high sodium content which can cause bloating for a bit (it will go away when your sodium intake lowers again, as well as if you stabilize your sodium intake). Another great benefit to these burritos is the high fiber content (18g, black or pinto beans help out a lot with increasing fiber totals) which helps keep your digestive system clean and in working order (click here for reasons why fiber is important) for information on the importance of fiber). Since Americans are typically not meeting daily fiber requirements, eating these burritos can help you meet your daily goal!
All in all I find eating Chipotle burritos to be great in use as muscle-building bulking food. You can increase the calorie content of the burrito by ordering it with extra meat or sour cream. I hope this article helped you understand that fast food can be somewhat healthy and still be great as use for bulking. Also you can visit the Chipotle Official site by clicking here.
