Get Close and Personal with Old Spice Matterhorn Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant

A couple of months ago I purchased the Old Spice Matterhorn Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant. It is from their 'Fresh Collection'. The retail price was $5.89, which would have been expensive for a deodorant, but it was on sale at $4 at CVS, and I received the $4 back in an 'extra bucks' coupon at the register. I could use this on my next visit.

I really do love the Old Spice line of products. My husband Len has had other products of theirs, and we both enjoy them, as I snuggle up to him.

The Old spice Matterhorn Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant comes in a big 2.6 ounce (73g) size. The outside is a cream color, with a label that shows the 'Matterhorn' mountain. Below is a village, a chair lift, and all that you can imagine the area to be.

As I pulled the top off the deodorant, it has a label saying: 'Smells like ice, wind & freedom'. Under this was a piece of red plastic protecting the top, and it had a picture of a ship on it, which made an indentation on the deodorant.

Upon turning the dial at the bottom, up came the white solid deodorant. The smell was so refreshing. It reminded me of clean, freshly washed, and a great manly smell.

I tried the deodorant, before giving it to Len. It went on really smooth, and I couldn't see it at all. Others that work well, can leave a dry feeling, and even mark your clothes. This one just felt soft, and didn't come off.

The fragrance isn't overpowering, but stayed with me. I wore it on a day when I was around the house, and food shopping. During the evening, when we were watching the television, I asked Len if he could smell it. His answer came back 'No', but he couldn't smell odor either.

I passed it over to Len the next day, and he used it each day. When we relaxed in the evening I could just smell that faint fragrance of the Old Spice. It is from the "Fresh Collection", and I think that is a great name for it. It stays, and smells fresh.

Even in the Florida heat, and humidity Old Spice Matterhorn Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant keeps Len dry, and fresh. You can't ask more than that from a deodorant.

Looking at the back of the label it states:

"Long lasting freshness.
Active ingredient is Aluminum zirconium trichlorohydrex Gly 18% (anhydrous)"

I believe Old Spice to be a great quality deodorant, and have enjoyed their men's products for donkey's years. I will purchase this for Len when there are sales on, coupled with a coupon. It is like twice the price of other brands.
