Last year I discovered a few gifts that won't cost you much but will make a big difference on the response you get from your wife.
I will start with the most affordable solution to your problems and go up in price to number five.
1.-Make a CD for her. (time: 30 min. - Cost: $1.00)
Most of us remember those old songs we felt in love to and what a great way to show your wife how much you treasure those moments if not by creating a collection of songs and putting it together on a CD. She can listen to it all through the year as she drives to work or while she drives around town doing errands.
2.-Sing a song for her and put it on a CD. (time: 15 min. - Cost: $1.00)
There is nothing more endearing to a wife than to hear her mate singing off key on a CD recorded specially for her. She will smile... maybe laugh but she will treasure it for ever.
3.-Give her a picture of yourself. (time: 15 min. - Cost: $2.00)
Take a picture of yourself holding a big rose bouquet and may be with a Santa hat on. Get creative; it will only make it funnier. She will put it on her desk at work and show it off to everyone. All day she will wonder how she got so lucky to have you.
4.-Give her a coupon for a massage. (time: 5 min. - Cost: $0.00 - $40)
If you are anything like me. When you met your wife you used to give her lots of massages and as time passed you started to do it less and less. It's a common effect from all the work and responsibilities of a household. Giving her a coupon ensures that she gets a nice massage by you. If you are the type of guy who can't handle the task just look on line. There are many places in your area that will give you a great deal for a gift certificate. She will absolutely love it!
5.-Last but not least you can buy her a piñata (time: 15 min. - Cost: $10 - $45)
Any Mexican market will carry a piñata for a few bucks and you can fill it up with a few bags of candy. Then you can add some or all of the gifts above and make it a very special one. The kids will love it and when she finds her surprises inside she will treasure you for ever!
One thing you always want to remember is that even though we all say it is the thought that counts; there is nothing that will stay in your wife's mind like a nice expensive diamond (just kidding!). But if you have a tight budget or you are doing things at the last minute, my thoughtful gift suggestions are sure earn a few points with your wife.
