I love Halloween. In the past I have had some epic costumes including Mark Twain, Magnum P.I., a Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan, Don Draper and my personal favorite Hunter S. Thompson (while I was in Las Vegas no less).

I always scour Goodwill and the Salvation Army for costume ideas and I plan start planning my costume as soon as November 1st rolls around. This year I am going as Lloyd Christmas from Dumb and Dumber complete with I.O.U.s and the scooter.

I've even more than once placed in costume contests and you can bet I've been looking for the best one to hit up this year to make a little cash on the side.

There are hundreds of costume parties in New York City, but I think that this year I will, be headed over to Union Hall in Park Slope for their Halloween party on Saturday night. If you haven't been to Union Hall, you are missing out on a huge bar, with bocce and great food to boot. They also have great music and host some epic events.

This Halloween party will have a DJ spinning music as well as drink specials, and you can be certain that there will be an eclectic mix of consumes and people partying the night away.

Hopefully I see you there, but think again if you are getting a ride on my scooter to Aspen!
