Even If Time is Running Against You

I celebrated my first Valentine's Day with my wife-to-be in 2003. I was broke for the past few months. This situation prevented me from buying her a present on time. So I waited until the last minute to do so. It was not an easy task, but I managed to make her happy with an ideal gift. This could be your case this year. Do not panic. This article is intended to assist you in making the right choice, even at the last second.

1. A homemade gift
A homemade gift is easier and more convenient if time is running against you. It could be a scrapbook or your girlfriend memory calendar, in which you record at least ten great moments you both have shared together. An original photo album with your pictures would be appreciated. Whatever the homemade gift would be make sure it is to remind her how deep are your love, your appreciation, and your admiration for her.

2. A most wanted gift
A most wanted gift is an ideal one. It could be anything she needed or deserved throughout the year. For example, your girlfriend might want some new glasses, a laptop, a new gadget, or a collection a fancy clothes. Purchasing at list one item from her most wanted list would make her happy on Valentine's Day. This could remind her that your care a lot about her needs.

3. An interesting gift
You can take your girlfriend to a national historic site where you can ride a steam locomotive, explore the Museums, read about history, and learn from the past. You can spend the Valentine's Day at a zoological garden, where you will be able to share a good time together.

4. A simple gift
If you get access to her house you can decide to mow her grass, cook a delicious food, or clean up her bedroom. A simple gift may also be a gift card. It could be sent along with a book of poem or a flower. By offering her this kind of gift you will express your thoughtful attention toward her.

5. A personal gift
You can offer your girlfriend a personalized gift. It could be a keepsake with an acrostic with the words "I love you", or a beautiful letter to let her know how wonderfully she has impacted your life. She can proudly display this gift on her desk or dresser.
