As the book says, in John 1:1, "Jesus was the Word", than I would say that Jesus was the Miracle. Well what does it mean when I say Miracle? How many articles or books have you read, including theology, which has tried to explain Miracles? They range from talks about free will and God's interruption of free will and so on and so on. But I would submit to you that the word Miracle is not about a verb of action but it is a presence. That's why people have a problem explaining it. Why? Because, they really can't explain God, He is a Spirit that can not be boxed. God knows this about Himself. That's why He calls Himself "I AM". "What is a miracle?" is the wrong question. The question to ask is "Who is the miracle?" I hope y'all getting excited about this. This is a spiritual emerald that I have just handed you. I just added to your spiritual treasure 100 fold. It has made you wealthy. The Miracle is the Father, The Father is the Miracle. Christ is the living embodiment of Him. Therefore He Is "I AM". Man! That is blowing me away and I haven't gotten anywhere yet. Hallelujah!
I want to bring to you The Miracle Birth today. This message will speak to your burdens. This message will draw you closer to Christ. This message will give you hope for future challenges. This message will introduce you to Miracles. But most of all, this message shall increase your faith.
About two years ago, after I moved back from Florida, the Lord gave me a vision. In the vision was a brick wall and on that brick wall was a brick that said "GETJESUS" exactly this way. When I saw it, it frightened me a little because I felt I had done something wrong. I thought to myself, "I already have Jesus, I'm a Christian". What does that mean, "Get Jesus"? In another vision, at another time, I saw specific bricks that were falling from a brick wall, one brick said "Tariq" and the other brick said "house". So I knew that it meant that the things that were a burden were being knocked down by Christ. At that time, I was struggling in a marriage with an unsaved man who wanted to be Muslim and the mortgage company wanted to foreclose on my home. As Jesus promised, those bricks came down and my life did a dramatic turn in the Holy Spirit, which is part of the reason that I even have this ministry.
I know you have had or have brick walls in your life, some I've spoken to and others I haven't but that doesn't matter. What matters is that I'm a living testimony that Jesus knocks down walls, just like the walls of Jericho. And He's in position to knock down the walls in your life right now. Let's look at the miracle birth of Christ. The Father has told us to "Get Jesus". Why? Jesus is the Miracle who births Miracles. Why was there a star? (Matt. 2:2) Why is Christ represented by the star? He is the Source, the Core, the Origin, and the Star of Bethlehem, of whom all of life must go through. Jesus said that all men would be drawn to Him. The star puts emphasis on this fact. The wise men knew that if they focused on this star, they would find Christ. So I'm telling you today to focus on the star and "Get Jesus". You should see all of life through His Star, through His Light, and through His Presence. What is the substance of His Presence called? Faith!
Romans 4:13 reads, "For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith." Faith and Christ are the same. Though Abraham was of the Old Testament, he had Christ because he had faith. He had the presence of Christ way before Christ came in the flesh. Christ said in John 8:58, "before Abraham was even born, I AM" to say that he existed before Abraham was born. Since Jesus is Faith, He is, in Heb. 11:1, the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Jesus says in Rev. 1:8, "I am Alpha and Omega, beginning and end". Jesus is everything; all of the past and all of the future. He is All Existing. The word says that Christ was God manifested in the flesh. And since we are united in Christ as He is One with the Father. We are Faith as well. This is the formula for miracles. What does this mean for you? In Christ, you are All Existing; you have no beginning or end. As Christ Is, so are You. Your Faith moves in Christ at every moment of "Now".
Faith is used too loosely these days. Do you understand the magnitude of the Faith you live in? It's Power. It's everything that Christ was, is, and will be in You. That's why you should be able to move in the presence of God at any moment. Your breakthrough miracle is connected with you because you have Christ in you. I'm not talking about doing anything on your own but God working through Christ in you, for you. Your miracle is dependant upon your relationship with Christ, with Faith. As you are filled with Him, this substance called Faith.
Read Ezekiel 4:1-13. For everything Ezekiel did symbolically, God did in reality. Ezekiel moved in the presence of God and with God. Ezekiel believed God by Faith because they had a close relationship, in which Ezekiel trusted God. We tend to look at God's miracles the way the world looks at a magician doing a magic trick. It's here and now it's gone, hocus pocus, abracadabra. This is not how our God works. It's a pagan way of thinking; an idolatrous, worldly way of seeing things, caught up in a world that wants quick-fixes.
Jesus is your focus. He is your deliverance. Strengthen your relationship with Him. Christ is Faith and Christ feeds your faith. Your relationship with Him brings trust to "Believe". It's Him who separates us from diviners and those who do magic. They do magic in chaos. Christ is the substance of miracles himself, bringing forth the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, and more faith. It's the relationship that strengthens and feeds your faith. The miracle comes upon the building up of this relationship. If you move, God will move.
