An Allied Assualt: Jason the lead singing.
Riley: First question Jason and I am sure some people are going to be curious, how did you guys get your name?
An Allied Assualt: Video game Medal of Honor: An Allied Assault.
Riley: Where is your band located at?
An Allied Assualt: Plano, Texas
Riley: Who are the other members of the band and what instruments do they play?
An Allied Assualt: Austin who plays guitar, Me Vocals and Doug who plays drums. We are trying out Peter on Trumpet and Tomas on Bass.
Riley: How old is each member of your band Jason?
An Allied Assualt: I'm 16, Austin is 17, Doug is 14
Riley: Do you guys find it hard finding venues to play at?
An Allied Assualt: Definately.
Riley: So jason how would you describe the music you play?
An Allied Assualt: Its a lot of different styles since we have lots of different musical tastes. Mainly we are a punk/rock/ska (thats our myspace genre thing) but we
like to throw other things in there too. Right now we are mainly punk and rock because we've had a hard time making the transition into ska because not a lot of horn players we know are intersted in joining. So we have just tried to look around for them but keep practicing as a "traditional" band.
Riley: So Jason what are you goals and expectations for the band?
An Allied Assualt: We just hope to give people a fun listening experience and to just have fun playing awesome music. Also we would like to record an EP, LP,CD or whatever else there is. And basically just have a really good experience with our friends.
Riley: Ok Jason big question here .. if you guys could tour the nation with any band which band would that be?
An Allied Assualt: Wow. Thats a crazy question. For me it would be someone like The City Drive, which is a pop punk kind of band out of California, they aren't that famous yet but have a CD out and record deal and such. For Austin it would probably be Rancid or Reel Big Fish something like that. And for Doug even though he's dead it would definately be The Jimi Hendrix Experience.
Riley: So tell our readers where they can go to listen to your tunes and find out more about you guys?
An Allied Assualt: Http://www.myspace.com/analliedassault or just find one of us on myspace and also we'd like help booking shows and stuff (just throwing it out there haha).
Riley: Well Jason thank you for stopping by and giving us an insight on you guys and one day we at Penehoff Promotions hope to see you guys jamming at a venue in our home town.
An Allied Assualt: Thanks so much for the opportunity! We really appreciate it!
