Get to Know the Characters of Drake and Josh

Drake and Josh is a popular show that aired on Nickelodeon. There have even been to Drake and Josh movies. The show is about two boys who become stepbrothers when their parents marry. Despite tons of differences and lots of arguments, the two tend to solve their problems together. The whole time they are learning to live together, they also have to watch for their little sister, Megan, who is always pulling elaborate pranks on them. Here is a guide to the characters in Drake and Josh.

Drake Parker

Drake is the guy who loves music and girls. He tends to slack off in class. Drake is played by Drake Bell.

Josh Nichols

Josh is the typical nerdy guy. His image has somewhat improved due to being Drake's stepbrother. He still has an intense interest in science. He also has a big head. Josh is played by Josh Peck.

Megan Parker

Megan is Drake's little sister and Josh's stepsister. She is always playing pranks on the two of them. She refers to her brothers as "The Boobs." Sometimes Drake can be overprotective of Megan. Megan is played by Miranda Cosgrove.

Walter Nichols

Walter is Josh's father. He married Drake and Megan's mother. He is a weatherman whose forecasts are usually wrong. Walter is played by Jonathan Goldstein.

Audrey Parker-Nichols

Audrey is Drake and Megan's mother. She married Josh's father. She says that she is clumsy. It is known that she works, but her job is not mentioned. Audrey is played by Nancy Sullivan.

The Nerds

The Nerds are Craig Ramirez and Eric Blonowitz. They are the typical nerds who seem to be into gaming and intellectual discussion. They like to try to invent new things. Drake often pays "the nerds" to do something and gets theme involved in his schemes. Drake also mixes up their names. Craig is played by Alec Medlock and Eric is played by Scott Halberstadst.

Helen Ophelia Dubois-Baxter

Helen is the manager at The Premiere Movie Theater where Josh works. She does not care much for Josh and seems to think is he incompetent to do many things. Drake, however, will always charm her, no matter what he is doing. Helen is played by Yvette Nicole Brown.

Mindy Crenshaw

Mindy is Josh's rival as she always brags about doing better in school or in competitions than Josh. However, they become boyfriend and girlfriend. They brake up, but then they get back together. Mindy is played by Allison Scagliotti-Smith.

"Crazy" Steve

"Crazy" Steven is an employee at The Premiere Movie Theater. He goes crazy at different things, usually a critique of his work, or a mention of a simple mistake. His "bad days" are Mondays. He calms down when he hears the song, "She'll Be Coming Round the Mountain." "Crazy" Steve is played by Jerry Trainor.

Gavin

Gavin is another employee at The Premiere Movie Theater. He always tells Josh to clean something which Josh never cleans due to reasons that he is busy. Gavin then comes by with whatever it was Josh was supposed to clean and says, "Got it." Gavin is played by Jake Farrow.

Mrs. Hayfer

Mrs. Hayfer is Drake and Josh's English teacher. She loves Josh because of his hard work. However, she hates Drake. Drake hates her as well. Mrs. Hayfer is played by Julia Duffy.

Bruce Winchill

Bruce Winchill is a character that is never seen in Drake and Josh. He is a weatherman on a competing channel than the one on which Walter is a weatherman. Megan and Audrey both mention how good his hair looks.

    Something else that's kind of interesting to know is that Crazy Steve (Jerry Trainor) on the show is also Drake's road manager on tour in real life.

    My boys LOVE this show! My 8 yr old wants a guitar because of it! (He is 9 now) I figured he wanted a black or white guitar...so I asked which color. His reply was an exhuberant "Cherry red!!!"
