Kuzco
Kuzco is the emperor of the kingdom, or at least he would be, if he can finish school. He must live with a peasant family while he finishes school and has no access to the castle or the royal funds. He is also extremely egotistic. Kuzco is voiced by J.P. Manoux.
Principal Amzy/Yzma
Yzma is Kuzco's former advisor who wants the job of empress. Because of this, she devises different ways to try to get rid of Kuzco that always fail. She also disguises herself as the principal of Kuzco's school, Principal Amzy. It is a joke that Kuzco already knows she is really Yzma and Kronk always forgets that she is Yzma. Yzma is voiced by Eartha Kitt.
Kronk
Kronk is the big, lovable, dimwitted character on the show. He is another student. He works as Yzma's assistant, but he is also Kuzco's friend. This creates many interesting situations. Kronk is voiced by Patrick Warburton.
Malina
Malina is the most popular girl is school. She's smart, she studies, and she is a cheerleader. It seems like she is perfect. Of course, Kuzco always wants to go on a date with her. She has been out with Kuzco a few different times, but they are never actual dates, although Kuzco says they are. Malina is voiced by Jessica Di Cicco.
Pacha
Pacha is the father of the peasant family. He is a llama herder and has three young children. He serves as a father figure to Kuzco as well. Pacha is voiced by Fred Tatasciore.
Chicha
Chicha is Pacha's wife. As well as being the mother of three young children, she serves as a mother figure to Kuzco as well. Chicha is voiced by Wendie Malick.
Mr. Moleguaco
Mr. Moleguaco is the teacher that is always seen in Kuzco's school. Kuzco drives him crazy, but without Kuzco in class, he is not sure what to do. Mr. Moleguaco is voiced by Curtis Armstrong.
Bucky
Bucky is a squirrel that seems to know everybody. He lives in the wild, but can also be seen inside at times, too. He speaks "squirrel." In one episode, Kuzco is supposed to learn squirrel, but is mean to Bucky. However, Kuzco finally learned why it is important to learn a foreign language. Bucky is voiced by Bob Bergan.
The Royal Records Keeper
The Royal Records Keeper is seen whenever a question about what Kuzco has or what is in storage is asked. He carries a clipboard and constantly flips papers. The Royal Records Keeper is voiced by Rip Taylor.
The other character in The Emperor's New School play bit parts and are usually voiced by people who simply provide extra voices.
