Q: Give us a glimpse in to your life, where you live, work, school, do you have a hobby, a family, what do you like to do on your off time?
SB: I live in Coney Island, Brooklyn. I've applied for graduation with a B.A. in English Literature at CUNY Brooklyn College. Currently, I work at a Physical Therapy office because it pays the bills. I read quite a lot on my off time. In the summer, I love the beach. I also like to wander around Manhattan.
Q: You are relatively new to AC but I've noticed that you have really taken off, both as a writer and participant reading the work of others and commenting. What would you say is your goal here if any?
SB: I'm not sure I have any specific goals here on AC, but it sure is nice to have an outlet for my writing that pays.
Q: What kind of movies do you enjoy and what is your favorite movie?
SB: I really enjoy "eye candy" type movies and thick plots. My favorite movie is Pulp Fiction.
Q: Would you call yourself an outdoor or indoor type of person? Explain.
SB: I'd like to say I'm outdoorsy, but I wouldn't make it an hour alone in the woods. Like I said though, I can spend a whole day at the beach or drifting around SoHo.
Q: If you had a Bucket List, what would be the top three things you wanted to do before you die?
SB: Ride an elephant.
Travel Europe.
Write a goodbye letter.
Q: Do you have a favorite author (not an AC Producer)?
SB: I have many. F. Scott Fitzgerald, Vladimir Nabokov, Gabriel Garcia Marquez...
Q: What do you like about writing for Associated Content?
SB That it isn't discriminatory. And they pay!!!
Q: Is there anything about AC you think could be improved?
SB: Real time would be cool.
Q: Where do you get your inspiration for topics?
SB: Sometimes a light bulb just goes off, other times it's a C4C.
Q: Do you have a favorite genre to work in?
B: I'm still discovering myself as a writer.
Q: Where do you see yourself let's say five years from now as a writer?
SB: Ever notice no one is ever correct about where they'll be five years from now? Perhaps I'll be on the NY Times Best Seller list, or maybe AC will be rejecting my C4Cs. Only time will tell...
Q: Do you have any advice for someone getting started with freelance writing?
SB: I wish I did, but I'm new, and in need of some advice myself. I guess the best advice is always to keep writing.
Q: Which piece of work here on Associated Content do you think is an example of your best work? Please provide the link.
B: I'm not sure if its my best, but I had the most fun writing "A Study of T.S. Eliot's The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock."

I hope Sofya gets to ride her elephant and keeps on writing. As you can see, "A Study of TS Eliot's The Love Song of J.Alfred Prufrock" was the very first thing she published here. Not a bad start, wouldn't you say? Kudos to this young, talented writer!
