Miranda's style became increasingly sexy and attractive as the series progressed. She does not disappoint us in the film. To get Miranda's bold and brassy look in this scene, select a black and white printed dress such as two options from Anthropologie (a hibiscus print shift or a "film noir" shift). Bloomingdales also offers a black and while polka dot mini dress from French Connection. Accessorize with a metallic belt (Melamed has a nice gold belt at Bloomingdales), a pair of white pumps (Zappos offers white peep toes from Jessica Simpson and RSVP that match the look), and a gold bag (Zappos also offers a golden Kenneth Cole Reaction tote).
Charlotte has been the most traditional and feminine dresser out of the four main ladies, choosing floral patterns and dresses with a distinctive '50s look. In this scene, Charlotte wears a floral strapless dress in her traditionally soft and feminine style. You can check out the Kerry halter dress at Delia's website or INC's black and white printed shirtdress with white Cole Haan "Karma" peep toes to complete the look. To complete the look, add a traditional white pocketbook such as Tory Burch "Reva" Embossed Patent Clutch
Whether you love it or hate it, you can't deny the individuality of Carrie's style. She updates a traditional fitted dress silhouette with a poufy layer on top. To capture Carrie's quirky flower girl look, you can purchase a silk floral Bluemarine dress or a puffy whimsical flower dress from Forever 21. Finish off the look with a pair of black and white Marc Jacobs spectator pumps from Bloomingdales or a pair peach boardroom peep toe heals.
And lastly, to copy the '80s power suit look from the ever sexy Samantha you can look at the yellow suit from Metrostyle, or a yellow Nannette Lepore jacket and a black pencil skirt from J. Crew. Top off the look with a pair of sparkly Jessica Simpson "Dover" peep toe pumps or a pair of silver leather l.a.m.b. shoes.
Remember, though, while our friends Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda, and Samantha can be wonderful fashion inspirations, make sure that you add a little bit of your own personality in your outfits. Most importantly, have fun!
