'Get Married' Featured Wedding Planner Hosts Bridal Luncheon for Brides and Their Moms

Tis the season for weddings! There's Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day and then those days in between that do not need a special occasion for love to announce its permanence. Reality TV Event Planner, Tia R. Ervin, CEO of Milestone Occasions in partnership with official sponsor, Atlanta Marriott of Buckhead will kick-off "Mom and Me Wedding Planning Luncheon", an intimate bridal luncheon for brides-to-be and their moms to spend time with the wedding planning expert who was a featured planner on Lifetime's "Get Married", a reality TV show hosted by celebrity wedding designer Colin Cowie that includes internationally renowned experts in fashion, food, destinations, design and wedding décor. Ervin will share insider tips and tricks of the trade to a fabulous and memorable wedding during the private lunch and learn event. The luncheon is scheduled to take place Saturday, February 26th at the Atlanta Marriott Buckhead from 10am - 2pm and tickets are only $20 per person or $35 for a pair.

After spending close to 15 years creating beautiful and unique floral arrangements and decor for weddings, Milestone Occasions CEO Tia Ervin discovered her true passion for helping brides was centered on working through all the details of planning and coordinating their wedding. "I liked seeing all the pieces come together, and not just the single part I played as the décor specialist. So in 1997, I began expanding my skills to include training to become one of Atlanta's best wedding planners." With this in mind, Tia completed a two year apprenticeship with an established wedding planner and completed a formal classroom certificate program with the Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants (ACPWC). In order to gain her industry designated title of 'Certified Wedding Consultant', she invested an additional two years to meet the strict ACPWC requirements of certification reserved only for the most disciplined of planners. Named The Knot Best of Wedding's Event Planner in 2010, Tia Ervin has provided her expertise in numerous trade publications and has appeared in 3 episodes of the 2009 season of 'Get Married' on Lifetime Television hosted by celebrity design expert, Colin Cowie. Tia shared her expertise on several wedding topics, including ways to incorporate water into a ceremony as a unique expression of love.
