Get Married on MySpace: Not like the Bachelor

Engaged? Get Married on MySpace

Viktorya Hale
You would think that of all places, MySpace would try to pull off another form of The Bachelor. To our surprise, it is quite the contrary. In fact you have to already be engaged to even qualify. I know what some of you are thinking too... hmmm we can get engaged now so that we can be famous on MySpace. That would be pretty sad and childish, but there are some people out there that are like that. Different strokes for different folks, I reckon. I could never do it as I like privacy and something like a wedding is very intimate, so uhm MySpace? lol No way!!

However there are some of you MySpace fanatic partiers out there that love all the publicity and hype, so you may want to run your whole engagement/proposal on MySpace's Get Married on MySpace page. If you are engaged right now, they want to know your story. Did you meet on MySpace? They are looking for a unique couple and their story.

The Proposal inspired this for MySpace. There are a few things that you have to do to enter the sweepstakes and have MySpace plan your wedding. We aren't talking about the staff either, we are talking about the millions of MySpace members. Yes, they get to vote on things that will be in your wedding.

From the dress to the bachelor party, MySpace members will choose for you. You have to upload your proposal story by April 17. From there, you and your fiance will be chosen while all of MySpace vote on everything that has to do with your wedding. The most exciting thing about it is that you won't find out what it is all about until the actual wedding day. Uh, ladies, that includes your dress.

Why be all stressed out about your wedding when you can win a free wedding, planned in detail. Then again there are those of us who just like to stay out of the limelight. So if you are anxious about the movie The Proposal (coming in June), then you should be just as excited to see just who and why will win the wedding of the century, on MySpace.
