Get more bang for your bowling buck at the Gutter in Brooklyn
Tired of spending $100 to get in one string and have one beer? Head over to the Gutter
Brooklyn, NY 11211
United States of America
I've been to Bowlmor in Union Square and Leisure Time in the Port Authority but wasn't all that impressed.
Well fret no more my fellow bowl-o-philes. The Gutter at 200 North 14th Street in Brooklyn is where I will be honing my skills from now on.
Not only do they have decent prices for lanes, shoes and beer, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Novices need not worry about being judged as it seems like gutter balls and strikes alike are treated with equal excitement.
You can easily spend a few hours there and get in a decent number of strings while enjoying plenty of adult beverages and not worry about breaking the bank.
The Gutter is great because it has less of the snooty air of Bowlmor (would you expect anything less from Bowlmor when their advertising focuses solely on how many celebrities have been there?) but still pumps out a great time.
You can expect to see me there working on my form whenever I get a chance.
