Nclex Exam Results Step #1
Forget paying pearsonvue $8-10 for quick unofficial results in three days. Find your local board of nursing on the internet by searching "Kentucky (or your state) board of nursing". It should end in .gov, my local board of nursing is Kentucky, kbn.ky.gov.
Nclex Exam Results Step #2
Find the 'license verification' link. On Kentucky's site, click on online services, then scroll down to license validation. On California's site, click on online services, then click on permanent license verification. On Texas' site, click on verify a license online. You get the point
Nclex Exam Results Step #3
Now you should either click on the license type you are searching for (LPN, RN, etc) or you will be able to enter information into a search field. On the Kentucky Board of Nursing site, you can click on basic search and you will then be directed to a search field. You can now enter your name or in some states you can search by social security number. In Kentucky, search your name and if multiple names the same as yours come up, click the box of whichever one is you and click enter.
Nclex Exam Results Step #4
If your search results in no matches; your results are not in or you did not pass. No need to worry yet about not passing though because depending on your state, it make take a few days for the results to be scored and a license number to be issued. You can keep trying this search, I searched day and night and finally my license number showed up.
Nclex Exam Results Tips
I live in Kentucky, it took 2 days and finally my license number came up in a search, so give it time. However, I was able to find out faster than my friends who paid for their results through pearsonvue.
You will not get a license number unless you passed your Nclex exam, therefore these are official results that you passed the Nclex exam.
If after 3 days you do not get results, it may then be worth paying pearsonvue to get your 'unofficial' results so you will know for sure. You are only charged if your results are in so keep calling and searching for your license number. You may get lucky and get your license number before you get your results.
Note: This only works if you have completed and submitted all of your required hours.

Post a CommentHI, I took my Nclex last monday feb 07 in California and my name doesnot show on the BRN. I called the office many times but they dont give me any information. I used the Pearson vue trick and it allow me to re-register. Does that mean I failed?
I took the NCLEX yesterday and really have a strong feeling that I failed. I mean its an almost positive feeling. Been checking the site using these tips but my name doesn't appear. Im going crazy... Does anyone know how long it will take for them to process it in California????

I took my nclex RN today with 75 questions and some math. im so scared. does it mean i fail?
i got all excited and they do not even offer Ca as an option. It's cool though, I keep getting the good pop up on the pvt!! Good luck to you all!!! We have gotten over the hardiest part, we've made it this far and we will continue with the Lord's grace. Happy 2011......huggs

I had a lot of people at church and family praying for me, I did about 5 review books and Kaplan course. I studied every day for 4mnths for atleast 3 hrs minimum each day and the last mnth i studied for about 10-12 hrs each time. I am now convinced it was all for nothing and I failed.....I did however have some math problems that I got right I know for sure... about 11 of them atleast...I am convinced I am failed with no sleeep for a day and a half I dont have the enrgy to cry....I wait and wait and finally come upon this site! And checked it out and guess what I have an RN-Licence! I am finally an RN,BSN. God was faithful to me even when I felt so weak and lost hope ....if anyone of you worry so much along with all your studying find people who will pray for you and personally pray a lot and converse with the Lord and place all ur worries on Him. I go for the exam not having slept for over 24 hrs before the exam, I did not sleep because I was so scared. That did not help one bit when I reached the test center. I was freaking out, my head was literally vibrating with no sleep. They gave me this huge list of rules of no gum, no watch, no tissue. And then they take my photo, I looked like a convict. At my first question, so far okay then oh my reached question and I freaked out because it showed me some sort of picture of something I have never ever seen before in my life. Then I am completely freaking out I am sleepy got from 10-25 to 50 and then finally 75!! Oh my the computer did not shut down....then 100-125-150 still not shutting down and by now I am mad, frustrated and just clicking random answers that comes to my mind....then 200-225-250 still nothing and finally it stopped at 265 I am like thank God this exam does not really go any further..I walked out of the room and called my mother and just told her. but up to now i haven't received my license or license number...
