Get Your Neopet or Petpet Ready for Halloween with the Super Sweet "Zombie Paint Brush"!

There are almost unlimited ways to accent your Neopet or Petpet; you can use a background on your lookup, purchase items from the NC Mall or you might just be lucky enough to receive a Paint Brush as a random event or from playing Key Quest. The Zombie painted pets all look great and are nice to have for when Halloween rolls around; the prices on the paint brushes to convert them are expensive but I think they are worth it if you can afford it. The alternative is to buy all of the pieces of the "Secret Laboratory Map" and try your luck at zapping your pet once a day.

Prices on both are high; the lowest price on a "Zombie Paint Brush" on the Trading Post is 6.5 million NP. When I started searching for the Petpet version I got this message: "I could not find any lots fitting that description!" As expected, there are a lot of Neopet scams that go along with expensive brushes. Some of them include wanting to do things outside the Trading Post or Auction House, trying to sell a painted pet, selling items off of the site or asking for your password so they can 'deposit' the brush directly. One of the biggest scams is putting junk items in a shop and saying "If you buy all of them I will send you the Paint Brush". There is no guarantee that the person will do that and even if you have the NeoMails to prove it, TNT probably won't do anything about it because they strongly advise players to use the Trading Post and Auction House for higher priced items that can not be sold in shops because of the 99,999 NP price limit.
