Get Out of My Sight 2010 Thank You

We learned to pay attention and not just dream
Of sports and having parties.
Not saying it wasn't deserved.
Too many were grinning in their sleep.

How did so and so vote?
Oh no, you mean they did?
Voted in ex juvenile delinquents
Became the antique sly kids.

2010 thieves dominated Washington
And set records for all time spending highs
With no limit credit cards,
Signed over to you and I.
They placed signatures on checks,
Like promissory notes
To be paid by us and those,
That are not yet old enough to vote.

A lot of alcohol and drugs must have been sold
To enable stomaching some of the crimes.
What perhaps is their reply?
" Steal from the rich, and also the poor,
Some body's got to pay for our good times".

All sessions are over, I hope at last.
