Get Paid to Write Reviews with ReviewStream.Com

Everything You Need to Know About Reviewstream.Com

JR
There are many places on the Internet where you can get paid for your writing and ReviewStream.com is one of them. It is also one of the best sites that pay you for writing reviews.

The idea behind the site is very simple.

You're allowed to submit any kind of review. You can review the usual suspects like books and movies. But you can also review electronics, food, places and even people. If you're an active Internet user you can even review websites and chat rooms.

Depending on the quality of your review and the topic it's on, you can get paid a full rate (currently $2) or a so-called bulk rate (1/5 of the full rate - currently $0.40). Once your account accumulates $50, the money is sent to your PayPal account.

Additionally readers can vote for your reviews (you can vote for your reviews as well) and as the site says "each vote pays". Even though the site states that the rate for each vote is a subject to change, they also tell you that once all your reviews get $5 worth of votes, you will see those money in your account. Thought I would advise you not to vote on too many reviews in too short period of time. The site has a system against that sort of thing and you might find yourself seeing an error message "at least read the review first"...

Now that you know the basics, it's time to look closer.

The site itself doesn't have a very professional layout, so if you're expecting a site that looks like AssociatedContent or Helium, you will be disappointed. The site is also very heavy on Google Ads, but you will notice that only if you start browsing the reviews. If you're the type to visit the site only when you have a review to submit, you will never see one ad. The main page and the submission page seem to be the only pages without any ads.

Another thing that separates ReviewStream from all the other paid-to-write sites is the fact that you don't have to register to start getting paid. All you need is a valid PayPal e-mail. It will be used to keep track of your earnings, so you need to be careful and pay extra attention to whether or not your used a correct e-mail. ReviewStream doesn't allow to merge accounts, so once you start using one PayPal e-mail you should stick to it, or you will have to write twice as much to get payout from both e-mails you could've used.

How to maximize your income with ReviewStream?

The answer seems simple: write quality reviews. But there's more to it than just that.

The site allows short 200 words reviews, but it's best to write them at least 300 words (you're more likely to receive the full rate for a longer review). There are also certain topics that seem to attract more traffic and therefore you're more likely to earn more for them. If you review a place (like a hotel or a restaurant) you will probably be paid more. Electronics are also very good subject. Books and movies are very common so you would have to write a really good review to be paid the full rate. Though I have to admit that after I reviewed a book containing essays on the CSI franchise I did get paid the full rate.

All in all, it's usually easier to assume you will get paid the bulk rate, but nonetheless (depending on the amount of reviews) ReviewStream is proven to pay their writers and that is what matters, isn't it?
