Get ready to register! Ghostock 6 is coming May 8-11, 2008! Registration begins online Saturday, February 2, 2008. As always, it will take place in Savannah, Georgia, at the historic Hilton DeSoto. Ghostock features well-known guests in the paranormal field. Former guests have included Savannah's unofficial "mayor," Murray Silver, Steve Gonsalves from Sci Fi's popular "Ghost Hunters," Dr. William Rolle, renowned parapsychologist. Guest have also included investigators and the subjects of investigations from Discovery's "A Haunting.." series and authors of popular books dealing with ghosts and haunted places. But perhaps the main attraction at Ghostock is the opportunity to join one of a number of actual ghost investigations in this extremely haunted city, whether you are an experienced paranormal investigator or a complete novice.

Ghostock is hosted twice yearly by Patrick Burns, paranormal investigator on TruTv (formerly Court TV) in "Haunting Evidence." Patrick is also the founder of Ghost Hounds, a paranormal investigation team out of Atlanta, and is a popular speaker at conventions and paranormal events around the country.

Register early! Ghostock 6 provides experienced and novice investigators the opportunity to participate in actual investigations at historic locations around Savannah, some of which may never have been investigated before. As a participant, you will have the opportunity to take photos, do EVP work , search for cold spots, and learn how to properly conduct an investigation from experienced leaders. The earliest registrants get first choice of locations when the location list is revealed in April (to participants only; the list is confidential to protect the property owners.)

Investigation is not mandatory, and there are plenty of other incentives to attend Ghostock 6, from the guests to "Scaryoke," karaoke like you have never seen it before. But for those who wish to investigate, participation is limited to 100 people. Be at your computer at 1 PM on Saturday, have your Paypal account ready, and get that registration in so you can choose your spot to investigate!

The Hotel DeSoto, in the middle of Savannah's historic district, will have a limited number of rooms available at a special rate, another incentive for registering early. Participants are not required to stay at the hotel, although it is recommended.

Please note that Dr. Roll's name does not have an E. It should have been Dr. WIlliam Roll.
