Belly bloat is an extremely common problem among women, and to be honest here, the thinner you are, the more visible it is when your tummy is bloated. So skinny sisters, do not think that you are out of the water on this one.

It is widely known that Green Tea can help rev up your metabolism due to the caffeine content, what isn't so widely known is that due to its antioxidant, Green tea helps reduce water retention thus decreasing our maximized belly size. Also you need to stay away from salty foods, I know, I know its tempting. However, no matter how tempting it may be, it still is not worth looking puffy just to get your salt fix.

Incorporating grilled chicken into our diet is a must. Eating lots of chicken means that you are getting lots of protein.Ingesting lots of protein keeps you full longer so you eat less, another benefit of protein is that when your system is stocked up on proteins you have more energy. When you have more energy you are more active , which ultimately leads to burning off more calories. Now had you known that chicken could have such a positive effect on your diet wouldn't you have made it a staple a very long time ago. Make sure that your chicken is grilled and not fried. Fried chicken mean an excess of calories that you do not need! You aren't sacrificing flavor by ordering grilled , actually you are enhancing the natural flavor.

Go Whole Wheat! whole wheat gives you nutrients that are crucial to your well being. Your digestive system will run smoother and you will feel satisfied longer than you would with white bread or regular pasta. Eating more whole wheat is linked with a lower level of cardiovascular disease. An added bonus ; Whole wheat bread holds up way better in a sandwich than white bread does , white bread tends to be soggy when you make a sandwich with it. I have also noticed that whole wheat pasta grabs on to sauce much better than its far from healthy cousin "regular" starchy pasta.

Cook and dress salads with Extra Virgin Olive Oil Although Extra Virgin Olive Oil is still considered a fat, it is a healthy fat. Now i wouldn't recommend downing half a bottle because its healthier than your other options but substitute for creamier dressings when it is time to eat a salad, or when a recipe calls for Vegetable Oil. Extra Virgin Olive Oil has been shown to reduce belly fat and belly bloat.
