Get Rid of Plantar Warts

A wart is a nuisance, not to mention unattractive and unappealing. They form from a virus that invades the body, taking over your DNA and forcing it to produce more viruses. The result of this invasion is a wart, which can be a tiny spot or a big blot on your skin and can show up single or in groups. But the warts that appear on the bottom of your feet or your heel can be especially a major pain making it difficult to walk. Although traditional medicine can surgically remove the warts, it cannot prevent new ones from appearing since the virus is internal. Alternative treatments can help get rid of and prevent plantar warts from invading your life by strengthening your immune system.

Using garlic can help get rid of plantar warts in a couple of weeks by applying it directly on the wart. Here's what to do. Squash a clove of garlic into a pulp, and before you got to sleep put the pulp of garlic directly on the wart. Cover it with a small bandage and then put a sock on to cover it up. In the morning, remove the bandage and clean the area. Do this everyday and you should start to notice the wart getting smaller. In about 10 to 14 days the wart should be gone. Although not a guarantee, this treatment has proven to work for many people.

Tea tree essential oil is an antiviral herb that can help get rid of plantar warts by applying a few drops of the oil to the wart everyday. To avoid infections and viruses invading your body and taking over, be sure to take a good daily dose of vitamin C. Vitamin C works best to strengthen the immune system and can help prevent and get rid of plantar warts. Just like Tea tree essential oil, vitamin C is an antiviral product. To boost your immune system, take 1,000 mgs of vitamin C daily. You can take this dosage everyday on an ongoing basis to help prevent viral infections and other viruses.

Another helpful herb is Astragalus. Astragalus is one of the best herbs for strengthening the immune system and getting rid of plantar warts. Be sure to follow the dosage on the label. Using the right type of homeopathy treatments can help get rid of plantar warts. Thuja occidentalis and Antimonium crudum used together as a homeopathy remedy can help get rid of plantar warts. Take a 6C potency of the homeopathy remedy and follow the directions on the label. Once you have gotten rid of the wart, stop using the treatment. If the wart bleeds while using this homeopathy treatment, use nitric acid (follow the directions).
